Norway's Farstad Shipping has secured a two-vessel charter deal for a consortium of operators to support drilling operations in waters off Australia and New Zealand.

The deal, worth NK450m, will see anchor handling tug supply vessels Far Scimitar and Far Fosna support the semi-submersible rig Kan Tan IV. The vessels are scheduled to depart the North Sea in early June.
