P&O’s Azura Launched

P&O Cruises' Azura has been launched from Fincantieri's Monfalcone shipyard in Italy. The 116,000t ship is 290m long and has 2,180 cabins, which can accommodate 3,118 passengers and 1,265 crew. The vessel features theatres, swimming pools, shops, a wellness centre,

P&O Cruises’ Azura has been launched from Fincantieri’s Monfalcone shipyard in Italy.

The 116,000t ship is 290m long and has 2,180 cabins, which can accommodate 3,118 passengers and 1,265 crew.

The vessel features theatres, swimming pools, shops, a wellness centre, restaurants and a sports zone.

The Azura will start operations in the first quarter of 2010.

The vessel is the third ship Fincantieri has built for P&O Cruises.
