COSCO Shipyard Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Classification Society (CCS).

Under the agreement, CCS will provide technical support to COSCO in the areas of technical communication, regulations and principals, new vessel development, coating technology and international cooperation.

The deal will help COSCO develop an advanced construction quality control and inspection regime with CCS.
