US-based Esco has bought two ships for recycling from the Maritime Administration of the US Department of Transportation. The Resolute is a partial container/breakbulk ship, based at the James River Reserve Fleet site in Newport News, Virginia. The ship is worth $90,726.

The Resolute is a partial container/breakbulk ship, based at the James River Reserve Fleet site in Newport News, Virginia. The ship is worth $90,726.

The Gulf Farmer breakbulk cargo ship, valued at $80,726, is currently located at the Beaumont Reserve Fleet site, Texas.

The ships will leave their sites for recycling within a month.
