International shipping firm Eitzen Gas (EGAS), an affiliate of CECO, and Münchmeyer Petersen Steamship (MPC) have signed an agreement to supervise a fleet of pressurised gas carriers for MPC.

The carriers will run alongside EGAS’ existing fleet of pressurised LPG carriers.

The EGAS will manage the Longchamp, Malvern and Coniston vessels. The Cheltenham, Deauville and Auteuil will be managed by EGAS once its existing commitments are completed.

MPC, which is part of MPC Group, is a German technical and commercial ship manager for bulk carriers and container vessels.

Denmark’s EGAS specialises in the transport of petrochemical gases and LNG and operates and controls a fleet of ethylene and LPG carriers.
