Saigon Newport Company has announced it has begun operations from its $60m inland clearance depot in Dong Nai’s south province in Vietnam.

The Tan Cang-Long Binh Depot can annually handle goods of more than 500,000 TEUs, and includes three zones for storage, containers and offices and services.

Saigon Newport Company was established in 1989 in Ho Chi Minh City and is a major container port operator in Vietnam.

The firm also manages Tan Cang-So, Tan Cang-Cat Lai Port and Tan Cang.
