Sri Lankan shipbuilding firm Colombo Dockyard has received a $61m contract to build two anchor handling tug supply vessels.

The design of the vessel has been developed by Moss Maritime in Norway and will feature a 130t bollard pull, the company said.

The vessels, scheduled to be delivered in late 2011, will be put into service to support offshore units, barges and other vessels.
