Harvey Gulf International and Bisso Marine in the US have jointly launched a marine service to provide subsea support to the maritime industry.

In a statement, Bisso Marine said that the Harvey Bisso Subsea service would provide a 12-man saturation diving system which can work up to a depth of 1,000ft.

The SAT system would be deployed from the Harvey Discovery, a DP2-certified support vessel outfitted with a 65t crane and a moon pool, the company said.

The system includes a dual-lock, six-man deck decompression chamber, a 12-man launchable flyaway hyperbaric rescue chamber, six-man come-out chamber and a three-man diving bell.

The vessel also has a gas reclaim system, which allows expelled gases to be circulated and recycled.
