Hurricane Ida Forces Cruise Ships Off Course

Hurricane Ida knocked at least four cruise ships off course as it swept through the US Gulf Coast before being downgraded today.

The Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Liberty and Crown Princess have all changed their itineraries, according to usatoday.com.

A Carnival spokesperson told local news service al.com the line will decide today whether the inaugural cruise of the Carnival Fantasy out of Mobile, Alabama, scheduled for today will be delayed because of the approaching storm.
