Orion Marine Group’s wholly owned subsidiary, Misener Marine Construction, has won a $10m contract to modernise a dry bulk terminal in Great Inagua, Bahamas.

Misener will repair the wharf facility including the addition of new mooring dolphins to accommodate larger ships.

Onsite construction of the project is expected to start during the first quarter of 2010, lasting approximately six months.

In September, the company was awarded a $54m sub-contract to rehabilitate and increase the capacity of multiple US Army Corps of Engineer’s dredge material placement areas along the Houston ship channel.
