Samsung Heavy Industries has won newbuild orders worth $750m.

The South Korean shipbuilder said it has secured orders for the construction of nine tankers from Europe and one for an offshore facility from South East Asia.

Samsung has also signed an agreement to build a liquefied natural gas floating production storage offloading (FPSO) vessel for Royal Dutch Shell, the company said.

The FPSO vessel order is estimated to be worth up to $5bn, according to Reuters.
