China Ship Exports Surge

In 2009, the total export value of ships, boats and floating structures increased 44.9% year on year to $28.36bn, while import value soared 92.5% to $2.48bn.

The shipbuilding industry’s total export value was $37bn last year, up 17.8% from the previous year.
