Argentina's Government is planning to build nuclear-powered vessels for its Navy, according to the country's defence minister Nilda Garre.

"We want to recover the capabilities which the country had in science, technology and industry; Argentina cannot stay on the sidelines when it comes to this technology," the minister said.
