US-based Ceres Terminals has signed a lease agreement with the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) for 12 additional acres at the Port of Baltimore's Dundalk Marine Terminal.

The company already leases five acres at Dundalk from the MPA and the increased acreage will allow Ceres to attract new roll-on, roll-off (ro/ro) and break bulk customers, according to baltimoresun.com.

The port expansion will also offer marine terminal services and the ability to handle ro/ro and break bulk cargo for "K" Line and NYK Line.
