Viken Shipping Orders Two Suezmax Tankers

The bulk carrier and tanker operator said the ships were ordered against two long-term charters with French oil major Total, according to lloydslist.com.

Viken Shipping chairman Hans Olav Lindal said one of the tankers was ordered by Viken in a joint venture with Norwegian dry bulk carrier J Ludwig Mowinckels.

The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2012.
