The 158,500dwt vessels will cost about $68m each.
The vessels, to be built at Samsung’s Geoje shipyard in Korea, are scheduled to be delivered between April and October 2012, according to biz.thestar.com.
The contract brings the Malaysian shipping company’s order book to 17 vessels and includes ten Aframax tankers and three product tankers.
