Bangladesh to Set up River Port

Bangladesh's shipping ministry will set up a river port at Ashuganj and procure six dredgers courtesy of a $1bn credit provided by India. The shipping ministry will get four of the dredgers, while the water resources ministry will receive the other two. Under the Bangladesh-India

Under the Bangladesh-India protocol, Mongla and Chittagong sea port containers, cargo handling jetty and transit shares will also be constructed.
