CSAV to Expand Containership Fleet

Compania Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV) is planning to add five 8,000teu containerships to its fleet. The Chilean shipping company said the vessels will be built at shipyards in Korea and China. CSAV said the orders will boost its cargo shipping arm and secure new trade route

CSAV said the orders will boost its cargo shipping arm and secure new trade routes, according to asiasis.com.

The firm said deliveries of the vessels have been scheduled for 2012-13.
