Sembawang Secures Ship Upgrade Contracts

Sembawang Shipyard has secured two separate contracts worth S$110m (US$82m) to upgrade two vessels.

Under the first contract, worth S$32m (US$23m), from Interislander, a division of New Zealand-based Kiwirail, Sembawang will dry dock its Ro-Pax ferry, the Aratere.

The second contract, from Carnival Australia, will see Sembawang upgrade and refurbish the Pacific Pearl cruise ship.
