Drydocks Wins Tidewater PSV Contract

Drydocks has secured a $100.4m contract to build four platform supply vessels, including four optional vessels, for Tidewater Marine, a unit of US-based Tidewater. The company said each vessel will be constructed with Rolls-Royce Marine's UT755CDL design and powered by diesel electric

Drydocks has secured a $100.4m contract to build four platform supply vessels, including four optional vessels, for Tidewater Marine, a unit of US-based Tidewater.

The company said each vessel will be constructed with Rolls-Royce Marine’s UT755CDL design and powered by diesel electric propulsion.

The 81.55m vessels will each weigh 3,200t and feature a cargo deck of 670m².

The vessels will be built at the DDW-Nanindah shipyard in Indonesia, with the first ship scheduled for delivery within 18 months.
