US-based Danalevi is set to unveil a new 22ft powerboat model, the Furina, at the upcoming 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the company’s president Ross K Hartman has revealed.
Equipped with a V8, 380hp stern-driven Volvo Penta engine, the powerboat offers improved fuel efficiency and speeds of over 60mph at 5,800rpm.
Danalevi claims that the hull design and hydraulic steering give the boat "a smooth, sportscar-like ride".
Hartman said that with American muscle car feel and classic European styling, the Furina will be appreciated by both auto and boat enthusiasts.
"Geared toward driver experience, we have integrated design with leading innovations in boating technology," Hartman added.
The Furina incorporates adjustable driver and passenger seats, built-in coolers and storage, a Fusion stereo system, docking stations for iPhones and iPods, and the Volvo Garmin Glass Cockpit.
Hartman said the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is highly-respected and offers access to a broad range of consumers.
"From those looking for a cool ride on the water to yachters seeking out the perfect tender, this is definitely the show we want to be at and the ideal venue to reveal Danalevi’s Furina to the market," Hartman added.
Established in 2008, Danalevi is a privately held company that designs and builds high-performance powerboats with unique styling and high-quality craftsmanship.
