Keppel FELS Brasil, a subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine, has won two contracts worth a total of $950m from the Guara and Tupi consortia led by Petrobras.
The deals are for the fabrication and integration of topside modules on the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels P-66 and P-69.
Petrobras also has an option for a similar contract to be exercised by the first quarter of 2014.
Keppel Offshore & Marine chief operating officer Chow Yew Yuen said that the project would help Petrobras expand its fleet of FPSOs with local content provided by Keppel FELS Brasil.

"Undertaking two similar projects will enable us to maximise our efficiencies and add value for our customer," Yuen said.
Work includes the fabrication and integration of seven topside modules on both vessels, with each having a production capacity of 150,000 barrels of oil per day.
Upon completion of the work at Keppel FELS Brasil’s BrasFELS shipyard in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, the P-66 will be dispatched to the Guara field, while P-69 will work in the Tupi field, both off the coast of Brazil.
Keppel FELS Brasil is currently building the P-61 tension leg wellhead platform (TLWP) for the Papa-Terra field in Brazil’s Campos Basin and upgrading and lengthening of a drillship for Noble.
The shipyard is also constructing a drilling semisubmersible, DSSTM 38E, for Sete Brasil, and is about to start construction on five additional DSSTM 38E semisubmersibles for the same client.
