Food service company Viterra is in talks with the Montreal Port Authority (MPA) in Canada to lease and operate its grain terminal.

The MPA Grain Terminal is a transfer elevator with a storage capacity of 262,000t.

The terminal, which is directly connected to the Canadian National and Canadian Pacific rail network, functions all year round.

Port of Montreal, on the St Lawrence River is the largest inland port in the world.
