The Port of Chenglinji in China’s Hunan Province has completed the first phase of construction at the Songyang Lake Terminal.
Three 3,000-tonne deepwater berths have been built with an annual capacity of 300,000TEU.
Chenglingji Port is situated north-east of Yueyang city and the first phase of investment totalled $95m.
During the project, 13 berths will be built in the port in three construction phases, reports Baird Maritime.
