Singaporean subsea company Hallin Marine has entered into a $6.5m contract with a key oil and gas operator for its Sanko Angel vessel.
The ship will supply offshore construction support to the operator’s gas and oil platforms and subsea infrastructure, according to the contract.
From the vessel, Hallin technicians, engineers and divers will run remote operated vehicles and saturation diving services for part of the contract’s duration.
The 76m ship will be running in Dynamic Positioning Class 2 mode and will also supply accommodation support to the gas operator’s offshore crew, deploying much of its personnel accommodation.
The Sanko Angel is a multifunctional subsea operations vessel that can accommodate up to 120 personnel.
The contract will start immediately and is expected to operate into the final quarter of 2009.
