K Line Signs Long-Term Transport Agreement with Anshan

Shipping company Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) has agreed to transport iron ore for Anshan Iron and Steel Group in China, using its 170,000t bulk carriers. The ten-year agreement will start in October 2009 with the company carrying iron ore from Australia to China, K Line said.

Shipping company Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (K Line) has agreed to transport iron ore for Anshan Iron and Steel Group in China, using its 170,000t bulk carriers.

The ten-year agreement will start in October 2009 with the company carrying iron ore from Australia to China, K Line said.

The contract covers the transport of about 1.5 million tons of ore each year.
