China Approves Foreign Repairs at Zhejiang Shipyard

The Chinese government has given official approval to Hanjin Shipping's Zhejiang Eastern Shipyard (ZESCO) to repair foreign vessels. ZESCO has 150,000dwt and 300,00dwt docks and a 670m quay. Following the second phase of completion the ship repair yard will also have a 400,00

The Chinese government has given official approval to Hanjin Shipping’s Zhejiang Eastern Shipyard (ZESCO ) to repair foreign vessels.

ZESCO has 150,000dwt and 300,00dwt docks and a 670m quay.

Following the second phase of completion the ship repair yard will also have a 400,000dwt dock.

The yard was established in May 2007 and has repaired 14 vessels.
