Offshore Marine Services (OMS) UK has taken over the management and operation of four seismic support vessels from the Australian division of OMS Group, to the Aberdeen headquarters.

The vessels will be used for operations in the North Sea and West African waters, OMS said.

Each vessel is 50m long and has 225m² of deck space with individual fuel carrying capacity of 1,000t.

The Aberdeen office aims to increase the number of support vessels in the next five years by adding ten more vessels to its fleet.
