Zelenodolsk shipyard has received a contract from Kranoyarsk River Shipping to build two fast ships.

Zelenodolsk Shipyard general director Sergey Ilyin said the project A-45-1 vessels will belong to the Lena Class of ships, news.marinebiztv.com reports.

The Lena Class were designed by naval architectural bureau Agat and a the fully-loaded vessel will have a shallow draught of 90cm.

The 32m vessel has a beam of 6m and can moor directly to the bank without any special berths, the news service said.
