Singapore-based chartering company Marco Polo Marine said the second new dry dock at its shipyard in Batam, Indonesia, has begun ship repairs.

In a statement, the company said the drydock can accommodate vessels of up to 25,000dwt.

The newly built drydock also features a built-in pit to repair retractable thrusters.

The company is targeting chemical tankers, feeder container vessels, offshore vessels, coastal tankers, tugs and barges.
