Ulstein Design said it has received six ship design contracts worth over $68.6m from Brazilian ship owners CBO and DSND Consub.
Ulstein said the contracts are for the design, engineering, main equipment and the build of three different types of vessels.
DSND Consub has ordered two oil spill recovery vessels with the ULSTEIN P801 design with a conventional bow.
CBO has ordered two large platform supply vessels (PSVs) of the ULSTEIN PX105 model and two small PSVs of ULSTEIN PX106 with the ULSTEIN X-BOW.
All of the vessels are on eight-year contracts, with options for extension, with Brazilian state oil company Petrobras.
The four CBO vessels will be the first with the ULSTEIN X-BOW to be constructed and stationed in Brazil, the company said.
