Somali pirates have hijacked an empty oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden.
The Saudi-owned Al-Nisr Al-Saudi, with a crew of 14, was sailing to Jeddah from Japan when it was captured by the pirates.
The hijackers are demanding $20m to release the 5,136t tanker, according to arabnews.com.
In November 2008 Somali pirates hijacked the Sirius Star, a Saudi supertanker loaded with two million barrels of oil.
