Bourbon Offshore Maritima has signed contracts with Petrobras for the service of 13 vessels.
Under the agreement, the marine service firm will supply the Bourbon Liberty 200, an 80t traction anchor-handling tug supply vessel, for three years from May.
Bourbon said the deal also covers the supply of seven Bourbon Liberty 100 platform supply vessels for four years, which will come into service between June and October 2010.
Petrobras will receive five 18m passenger transport crew boats for eight years, which will join other vessels working for the company in Brazil for two years.
Bourbon expects its fleet to increase from 17 vessels (11 supply and six boats) to 30 vessels (19 supply and 11 crew boats) by the end of the year.
