Cargotec has won a €20m ($24m) contract to deliver carriers to be built at Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding in China.

The order includes bulk handling cranes and hatch covers for 17 37,000dwt Handysize bulk carriers and nine 82,000dwt Kamsarmax bulk carriers.

The cranes will have a capacity of 30t when handling general cargo and 24t when grab handling.

Cargotec will deliver the orders between 2011 and 2012.
