Gemalink Corporation, a joint venture between Gemadept Corporation and France’s CMA-CGM, has signed a $300m contract with Korea’s Dealim–Samwhan to construct a deep-sea container terminal in Vietnam.
The Cai Mep terminal, to be constructed in the Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, will include an 800m main quay, a 260m barge quay and 33ha of yard space.

Construction work will start in August 2010 and is expected to be completed in 2013.
