Drydocks World Dubai has built a second seismic vessel for WesternGeco, a business segment of geophysical service company Schlumberger.
The 88.8m-long WG Cook incorporates an X-bow hull and has been integrated with WesternGeco’s Q-Marine technology to improve reservoir characterisation, delineation and monitoring, the company said.

The vessel also complies with DNV Clean Design to ensure minimum emissions.
The company delivered the first vessel, the WG Tasman, in Q1 2010.
