Jiangsu Eastern Shipyard (JES) has secured six newbuild orders.
Shanghai Baosteel Shipping in China signed optional contracts for a pair of 23,000dwt units after previously striking a deal for three other vessels.

The Handysize vessels are scheduled for delivery in April and July 2012.
JES said Alkimos Shipping, Ionic Investment Corporation and Corinna Shipping have also ordered one 95,000dwt vessel each, with delivery scheduled for early 2012.
The shipbuilding firm expects to deliver an 82,000dwt bulk carrier to Ermeland Shipping by December 2011.
