Krasnoye Sormovo Shipyard in Russia has secured a contract to build five 5,530dwt oil tankers for VFTanker, including two option contracts.
The 19614 Project tankers will transport crude oil and petroleum products.

The carriers, intended for river navigation, will have a length of 141m, a beam of 16.9m, a depth of 6.1m and a maximum speed of 10kts.
The tankers are scheduled to be delivered in 2011, according to asiasis.com.
