BAE Systems has completed the acquisition of ship maintenance firm Atlantic Marine from private equity firm JF Lehman for $352m.
The company took over Atlantic’s operations at Mayport and Jacksonville, Florida; Moss Point, Mississippi; and Mobile, Alabama, US.

JF Lehman will, however, retain Atlantic Marine’s operations in Boston and Philadelphia.
BAE, which operates ship repair facilities in Hawaii, San Diego, Norfolk and Virginia, announced its agreement to acquire Atlantic Marine on 18 May.
