Hanjin Shipping has opened a €350m ($450m) semi-automated container terminal at the Spanish port of Algeciras.
The company said the Total Terminal International Algeciras (TTIA) facility in the Strait of Gibraltar is the first semi-automatic terminal in the Mediterranean and Southern Europe.

The TTIA has reached an operational status of 47% and is expected to be fully operational by October 2010.
