The Manatee County Port Authority has awarded Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company a $14.8m contract to dredge Berth 12 at Port Monatee in Florida, US.
The port authority said the berth will be dredged to a depth of 41ft and extended from 1,000ft to nearly 1,600ft.

The project is the final piece of Port Manatee’s 11-year $200m port expansion project.
