The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide €8m ($10m) for the reconstruction of a berth in Dubrovnik Port, Croatia.

The fund is an extension of a €26.5m ($34m) loan provided by the bank in 2005 to upgrade the port’s infrastructure.

The project also includes additional land for dockside development.

In May 2010 the EBRD provided a €12m ($15m) loan to finance the expansion of the Port of Sibenik.

The bank has invested over €400m ($523m) in transport projects in Croatia.
