Jeppesen, a US-based subsidiary of Boeing providing vessel operations services and digital navigation solutions, has introduced new C-MAP MAX-N Local charts that can be used by North American boaters for easy navigation.

Launched at the 2013 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the MAX-N Local cartography can be used by owners of popular Lowrance Elite 7 and HDS Gen1, Gen2 and Gen2Touch, Simrad NSS, NSE and NSO, and B&G Zeus Touch multifunction navigators.

The charts provide detailed information covering far-ranging areas for boaters to explore their preferred fishing, diving and cruising spots at minimal costs.

Jeppesen’s MAX-N Local charts also keep the boaters aware of restricted, caution, fishing and prohibited areas.

The charts provide up-to-date information such as depth Areas and Contours, Spot Soundings, NavAids, Light Sectors, Wreck/Obstructions, Anchorage Areas, Small Craft Facilities and more, collected from official sources.

Available immediately on pre-programmed micro SD cards, the MAX-N charts can be accessed from Jeppesen’s dealers or online through Jeppesen Direct.

Jeppesen offers a wide range of navigation and operations products and services such as Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC), Jeppesen PRIMAR ECDIS service, Jeppesen ENC service, Jeppesen Professional+, Jeppesen NauticalCatalog, OceanView and others, to both recreational and commercial marine markets.
