Maaskant Shipyards, a part of Netherland-based Damen Shipyards Group, is set to deliver a new 24m BS-12 vessel, Lottie Holly, to Myti Mussels on 28 September 2013.
The Lottie Holly will be the fifth mussel dredger for Myti and fourth from Maaskant.

Maakant delivered its first vessel, a 24m BS-449 Mytilus in 1999, a 43m BS-8 Valente in 2003 and a 21m mussel harvesting barge BS-1 Lôlipop in 2004.
The Lottie Holly vessel will replace the Lôlipop and will perform fishing and harvesting roles.
Myti Mussels co-owner Kim Mould said the company uses 1,200kg bags to truck the catch overnight from Bangor to Yerseke.
"The bags are filled on board, directly after mussel flushing, instead of bulk storage in the ship’s holds for onshore packaging," Mould added.

By GlobalDataDesigned by Myti Mussels, Maaskant, along with Bruce Roberts Europe as final construction designers, the new mussel dredger has yard number 611 and features two holds, a mussel flushing bunker and two propulsion engines.
Equipped with accommodation for three crew members, the vessel’s aft deckhouse with wheelhouse on top offers crew free main deck space from three sides.
The vessel also features a 4-drum winch that holds 300m of 16mm fishing wire.
The Lottie Holly has two rigs and a hydraulic marine-type deck crane with weighing capacity of 2.15t SWL at 700m.
The perpendicular length of the ship is 23.62m, with 10m beam and 2.65m depth.
Myti Mussels will deploy the Lottie Holly in the Merai Strait that separates the Isle of Anglesey from the Welsh mainland.
Myti Mussels has its mussel banks in Merai Strait, where the BS-12 will first seed and later net the mussels, or will be transporting in rest sea areas.
The mussel seed fishing will be carried out in the Irish Sea off Anglesey.
