By GlobalDataApart from the tanks for oil, water and drilling fluids, the vessel is equipped with four stainless-steel tanks for flammable liquids.
Ulstein said the vessel’s X-BOW hull line design provides efficiency over a wide draught range, which is important for PSVs as they operate with varying loads.
The vessel is equipped with a dynamic positioning system IMO class II and both the hull and propulsion system allows the vessel to operate in North Sea and North Atlantic conditions.
The new PSV has a power distribution and electrical propulsion system provided by Ulstein Power & Control.
Blue Power also features the information and communication system ULSTEIN COM, modular consoles and integrated navigation systems, and the integrated automation system ULSTEIN IAS.
