Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line (BPCL) is set to launch a refurbished cruise ship in April this year, which is slated to serve the route connecting Grand Bahama Island to the Port of Palm Beach in Florida, US.

The Grand Classica ship will be the only vessel to depart daily from the Port of Palm Beach to Grand Bahama Island following the launch.

BPCL currently provides a year-round, two-night cruise service from the Port of Palm Beach with its existing vessel, Grand Celebration.

Both vessels are expected to transport a total of approximately 500,000 passengers annually to Freeport, Bahamas.

"Having two ships sailing daily to Grand Bahama Island will also give our guests the flexibility and convenience to take advantage of a two-night getaway any day of the week."

BPCL CEO Oneil Khosa said: “At 52,900t, Grand Classica complements Grand Celebration nicely.

“There are several additional public spaces, so we are excited to add some new offerings, as well as bring all the popular outlets that we have on Grand Celebration for consistency with our guests.
