Porto do Açu oil transhipment terminal’s existing access channel has a depth of 20.5m, which is sufficient for Suezmax type vessels.

After the expansion, this depth will be increased to 24.5m, enabling the Porto do Açu oil transhipment terminal to handle large crude carriers.
