Cargotec subsidiary MacGregor has made an investment of an undisclosed sum to acquire the rights for a software solution from Lekven to increase the operational efficiency of its RoRo vessels.

The software is also expected to enhance the optimisation of port calls and related activities.

The software's developer Endre Lekven noted that the solution is based on improving shipowner and port operations.
