Rolls-Royce is showcasing the latest MTU propulsion systems and automation products for yachts at the ongoing Yachting Festival in Cannes, France.

The company is presenting Pininfarina-design bridge components, including control levers, digital touch displays, control panels and analogue display instruments.

These will be available for use in standard production models from 2016, and can be combined with the MTU Blue Vision new generation automation system.

Advanced-design Series 2000 engine, which incorporates a ZF gearbox, is also on display.

"Since the market launch in 2014, we have already supplied more than 200 engines to clients."

Available as a 12-cylinder or 16-cylinder version, the Series 2000 M96 is said to offer improved acceleration and fuel efficiency, and comply with the EPA Tier 3 exhaust emission standards for leisure craft.

MTU marine and offshore business head Nadine Buhmann said: "Since the market launch in 2014, we have already supplied more than 200 engines to clients.
