Over the last decade, NASSCO delivered 28 ocean-going ships to various government and commercial customers.

The company has also collaborated with South Korean shipbuilding group, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), to gain access with design and shipbuilding technologies.

Meanwhile, NASSCO has started construction of the Palmetto State, which is the eighth ship to be constructed under an eight-ship ECO class tanker programme for two separate customers; American Petroleum Tankers and SEA-Vista.

The first five ships of the programme have already been delivered, while the rest of three ships are under construction. The Palmetto State is scheduled to be delivered next year.
